At First Baptist Church of Cordele, congregational singing is important. Our singing is directed towards God and also towards our brothers and sisters in Christ for the building up of the Body of Christ. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” - Colossians 3:16

The Expositional Preaching of the Word of God is also our main task every week at First Baptist. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
