Worship
Leading Choir Ministry
Our
annual Worship Choir Retreat will be scheduled for the end of the
January or the first of February. We will have a one-night retreat with
a very special guest retreat leader. If you are new to the Worship
Choir, this will be a great time for you to experience and gain a
better understanding of the Worship Leading Choir ministry. As well as
rehearsing new music for each Sunday's worship, we will begin
rehearsing for a dynamoc musical to be presented in the spring. Thanks,
Worship Choir members, for your commitment and faithfulness during 2007.
The
Youth
Choir/Praise Team
Ministry
We have
begun organizing a youth praise team. There
will be scheduled
meetings throughout the year. We are looking for any youth who are
interested in either playing or singing in a praise team or teams.
Announcements about meeting times will be found in the order of worship
and announced from the pulpit.
The
Handbell Choir Ministry
The handbell
choir got off to a great start on September 4 with 14 ringers. We have
begun work on Christmas music, which will be presented during the
holiday season.

Choir is being planned for 2008

Adult
Choir Ministry
January
will bring an exciting change in our rehearsal schedule for the Senior
Adult Choir. We will rehearse choral music on the first and third
Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. On the second and fourth Wednesdays, we
will
have ukulele band rehearsal
at 11:00 a.m. This will give us
a better
opportunity to concentrate on each area of
our Senior Adult Choir
ministry. We will continue
to share our music and testimony in and
around the community
each month. Thank you, senior adults, for your
faithfulness during 2007. You are a blessing
to me.
The
Children’s Choir Ministry
Praise Choir leaders for a wonderful job of
leading our children in presenting the music
of Christmas. Even though
we
had great participation from our children, there are many
more who
could participate. Encourage your child or children to participate and
bring them to his or her age choir when we begin the new year on
January 16 at 5:30 pm.
